October in Da Vinci's

Just like September, October was a month full of various events and attractions in our school. We got involved in some interesting actions that allowed us to look at some things from a different perspective and do something good.

'Instead of a flower, I bring help!'

On November 14, we celebrated Teachers' Day, but we did it in a rather unusual way. We have decided that this year we will join the action 'Instead of a flower, I bring help!', organized by the Polish Humanitarian Organization (PAH). Its goal is to help the people of Somalia who are struggling with difficult living conditions. For this reason, we asked the students not to buy flowers for teachers, but to put a small donation in a special jar. The collected money was donated to help Somalis. We would like to thank everyone for participating in this action!

Tok-tober

October was also a time for us to get acquainted with the TOK (Theory of Knowledge) course. Although it is part of the International Baccalaureate program carried out by the high school, primary school students could take part in activities prepared for this occasion. They prepared unique posters related to the topic of knowledge. Each of them had something special about them, which is why the students received diplomas and a sweet snack for them.

In the meantime, seasonal decorations appeared in school corridors, made by our amazing art teacher with the help of the students.
